I installed it recently and I'm now seeing Pop-ups I have never seen before. I have been to a site that tests Pop-up software and AVG DOES NOT stop,I think, it was at least three types. It should only display though if you have AVG installed. In any case if your going to upgrade to the new version, I woul suggest you use the from the AVG website rather than the popup.
